¡¡NEW ALBUM !!

Where to Now? is as much a battle cry as it is Track Dogs’ new album title. The four Madrid-based lads are as determined as ever to win over the whole UK. This, their first tour with this recording is also their statement to fans that despite the disruption of the last two years, these dogs are neither sleeping nor lying.

Started during lockdown 2020, this collection of songs embraces introspection balanced with the undeniable optimism and rhythm that has opened the doors of venues and festivals to Track Dogs.

Where to Now?, Track Dogs’ 9th studio album, delivers 12 songs with 12 musical guests including Cathy Jordan of Dervish fame and the English folk-scene favorites, Banter. The album also features some lush string arrangements from both sides of the Atlantic. From the riproaring finale of  “Donna Lola” to the intimate duo of Garrett Wall and trumpeter-singer, Howard Brown on the title track, the Where to Now? tour promises new depth as well as Track Dogs’ signature fun and polish.

***** Bryony Hegarty, R2 Magazine

“Fire on the Rails” continues where “Kansas City Out Groove” left off; packed with invention, unusual textures, hooks and memorable melodies.”
**** Allan McKay, Musicriot.co.uk

Some of the most addictive folk melodies of the decade.”
“A wholesome and electrifying act, Track Dogs change the face of music with their vibrant and invigorating songs to produce an album that is the best way to start 2020.”
The upbeat melodies that Track Dogs bring to life in this album is a fresh and beautiful take on the world
Joe Knipe, Atree.co.uk

“Fire On The Rails bounces between the poles of pop and folk with trumpets and strings aplenty…this music, indeed, goes “forward in all directions”.”
Bill Golembeski, Folking.com

“Track Dogs’ infectious fusion of folk and Americana is captured at its inventive best here as this multi-national quartet deliver life enhancing ditties…”

What they say about our shows:

“…real festival show-stealer.”
Ken Brown, Square Roots Promotions

“A wonderful sound that has the crowd literally dancing in the aisles…with glorious four part harmonies they sound like a gritty Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.”
Paul Windsor, The Portsmouth News

“Track Dogs were the hit of Rochester Sweeps Festival 2016. Their close harmonies, instrumentation but above all, interaction with the audience, proved a winner.”
Doug Hudson, Director Rochester Sweeps

“Track Dogs played 2 shows at Vantastival 2016 and both were highlights of the weekend. Their unique show around 1 mic was perfect for the atmospheric smaller stage with their on-point vocal harmonies and rhythmic tribal beat. Their show as headline act for our larger stage was one of the biggest audiences of the weekend and left everyone in no doubt that this is a very very special band.”
Mark Staunton, Vantastival Festival Director

“In a battle of the stages, Track Dogs were up against festival headliner Badly Drawn Boy‬. Wonderfully unfazed by this, the band drew one of the biggest crowds of the weekend to the GoldenPlec Stage, cheery, Spanish-tinged acoustic proving a hit with a crowd that wanted to dance.”
Vantastival, Goldenplec.com

PRESS

“Kansas City Out Groove is an album brimming with confident and accomplished musicianship, first-rate vocal performances, and an abundant, utterly infectious, relish of the music itself.” Folkradio.co.uk

“…the quartet serve up a south of the border fiesta exuberance that defies you not to stomp the heels and play air castanets…the groove is most definitely on.”
Fatea Magazine

“This band turned out to be a total discovery, with vocal harmonies on a par with groups like Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, America or the most melodic style of, for example, the Eagles mixed in with the graceful irreverence of The Pogues‬.”
Renacer Eléctrico Music Magazine, Spain
